After begining with the name of God,and Praising the Holy
Prophet{PBUH}we shal discuss about CELEBRATION
THE HOLY PROPHET{PBUH}BIRTH DAY with evidence from
QUR'AN,HADITH AND VIEWS OF ISLAMIC SCHOLARS,and
The legal and religious status of celebrating the birth of Holy Prophet {PBUH} can be seen in light of the Qur’an and Sunnah.
And Indeed everyone rejoices to show his happiness except for Shaytan and his counterparts, because:
أن إبليس رن أربع رنات حين لعن وحين أهبط وحين ولد رسول الله
صلى الله عليه وسلم وحين أنزلت الفاتحة
Translation:

Iblis cried loudly four times, first when Allah declared him as cursed, second when he was thrown out, Third When Prophet {SAW} was born and fourth when Surah al-Fatiha was revealed

Therefore,this shows that those that opposed CELEBRATING PROPHET'S BIRTH DAY{PBUH}OR SHOW HAPPINESS on Prophet{PBUH}Birthday are counter part of Devil and one SHAMEFUL thing which ONLY KNOWLEDGABLE PERSON can know is that those that oppose it have similar CELEBRATION ON THEIR FOUNDER {IBN ABDULWAHAB}where they gathered similar to MAULUD but for the sake of their founder,check {FATAWA AQIDA FAGE 383 } though,their hatred towards Prophet {PBUH}were realsed after they were asked the following questions

>What is the difference between WEEK OF BN ABDULWAHAB {GATHERING FOR THE SAKE OF THEIR FOUNDER OR MAULUD OF THEIR FOUNDER} and Celebration of Prophet {PBUH} ?

>Because you dis regard the first one {MAULUDIN NABI}
and accept the second one {MAULUD BN ABDULWAHAB}

Did the muslims have any body to gather for his sake than Prophet {PBUH} ?

Did muslims have blessed by God through any body than Prophet {PBUH} ?

Did that mean if you practice Innovation once,is not prohibited ?

Therefore,let us see more evidence from Qur'an

Muslims rejoice on birth of Prophet {PBUH} because Allah has told us to rejoice on His "Bounties and Mercies" where He said

Say: "In the bounty of God. And in His Mercy, in that "LET THEM REJOICE" : that is better than the (wealth) they hoard (Surah Yunus, 10:58)
Some might think in their wildest of imaginations that birth and arrival of Prophet {PBUH} is not a mercy, some even falsely limit the Mercies of Allah by saying that mercy mentioned here does not refer to Prophet Muhammad {PBUH} thus we should not rejoice, so in reply to such people the best answer is found in Tafsir of Qur'an through Qur'an itself.
Qur'an states at another place:
وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ إِلَّا رَحْمَةً لِلْعَالَمِينَ
Translation:

We have not sent you but as a “Mercy to the worlds” {Surah al-Anbiya, 21:107}
Hence without any shadow of doubt arrival of Prophet {PBUH} is a mercy not only upon us but all worlds and creations of Allah azza Wajjal, thus we should rejoice as ordered in Qur'an (10:58)
Imam Ibn al-Jawzi {R} explains 10:58 in his Tafsir:
أن فضل الله: العلم، ورحمته: محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم، رواه الضحاك عن ابن عباس.
Translation:

Imamd-Dhahak narrated from Ibn Abbas (ra) that Bounty mentioned in this verse means Knowledge (i.e of Qur'an and Tawhid) whereas Mercy means Prophet Muhammad {SAW}

Imam Abu Hayyan al Andalusi {RTA} also said
الفضل العلم والرحمة محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم
Translation:

Bounty refers to Knowledge whereas Mercy refers to Sayyadina Muhammad {SAW}.

Lastly.we have seen what Allah said,where He ordered
us to show our Happines towards His Mercy {Prophet Muhammad {PBUH} }which we call MAULUD today and selecting a certain day to show happiness is SUNNAH {SAW}of Prophet {PBUH} which can be seen when
Prophet {PBUH} asked Jews in Medina that why are you fasting today {10 of Ashura}.?

Therefore,we have to know that even THE ANSAR
PEOPLE SELECTED A DAY where they show their joy towards the blessing of Allah check

{Musannaf 3/159 Hadith no 5,158}

And one wonderful thing which shows how Wahabbis
really hate any thing which will show the dignity of Prophet {PBUH} is that even their Second Commender Ibn Taymiyya brought the above Hadith as evidence for
MAULUDUN NABIY,though,I knew some will extremely
surprised why such people who always say we should follow SUNNAH would be called ENEMIES OF PROPHET
{PBUH},okay don't be surprised because such actions of
Theirs have been described by Holy Prophet {S} check
